Android 3.0 Honeycomb Logo

My guess is updating a logo while using the same outline is kind of tough.. But Android Logo designer(s) did a fantastic job. They use the same outline but colorize it, and remove some parts of the old logo, and add new parts to it. I like the way they change and update the logo.

Wonderbra Ads

The usage of visual elements are awesome at those ones, but more importantly, i like the idea of using materials itself. i mean, after designing an ad on a canvas, they also decided to use the place, 3d space. i like that idea, and they used that nicely.

Minimalist Effect on Maximalist Market

Which one would you prefer to buy? Which one gives enough information about the product and company. What if it’s not a very well known company? In design, does more visual elements mean more information? I don’t think so.

One Perfect Cup

Designed by Utopik Design Lab. It’s an intelligent interface design. Just with one glass and 3 different bases. That coud be a fantastic gift for Salkim Vineyard. In fact the curves that the design has make a relation with the liquid in it. It looks cool.

Characters in Mood

Works of Rasoloarison Live. There is a nice hierarchy going on there. The effect of boldness helps the viewer to understand it’s a face. Simplification with typography always works, and it works perfectly on those works.

Swiss Style

This is a style which emerged in Switzerland in 70’s. The usage of typographic elements became more and more important in Swiss Style. The structures of whole posters were well-designed with the idea of grid system. The overall impression was simple and rational, tightly structured and serious, clear and objective, and harmonious. Balance of the elements that used (shapes, forms, colors etc…) makes the work perfect in my opinion.

Artindustria Identity

This is the logo of a corporate identity, which deals with materials to make art. It is really attractive because of the relation of minimal graphics and typography. Curves that type has is completely in a relation with the curves of graphics. It is a well balanced, and well-designed logotype of a corporate identity.

3D Computer Graphics

This week I saw that 3D modeling and renders really impress me. There are incredible recreations in these pictures and It’s incredible to see how realistic they can get while recreating things from real life on a computer. These pictures are all simulated pictures. The cars, trains, plains and all other things are done by a designer on 3D programs. I think there is only one disadvantage of it. Since I looked around 100 pictures of this kind, I felt that it started to get boring. It made me feel like I was looking at a furniture catalogue sometimes, which I don’t often do. I realized that the person looking at a piece of design should see the distinction between real life and computer generated work, else it gets boring.

Cliche idea, brilliant solution. The advertisement completely suits with the company. IKEA is a worldwide company that needs to be creative in order to spread more. This advertisement perfectly serves what they need. As a whole, it appeals and it leads you to look for details, when you began to read create.
